Artomation Hosts "Big 10-4" Coatings Event – 150 Attend Technical Presentations and Lab Demonstrations

Cleveland, OH—Recognizing that Cleveland is at the heart of the paint and coatings industry, Artomation Incorporated, a manufacturer of automated spray painting machines, teamed up with 19 other companies to host the first Cleveland Coatings event—dubbed the "Big 10-4"—as it was held on October 4, 2005.

The event drew over 150 attendees from the Northern Ohio area and surrounds. Guests were able to select from twenty technical presentations ranging from pretreatment, liquid painting, powder coating, system design, UV curing to controls.

In addition to the conference, visitors where hosted to half a dozen hands-on live demonstrations in the 2,000 square foot Artomation applications laboratory. These interactive demonstrations included plasma surface treatment of plastics, robotic UV curing, curing using the latest UV LED technology, innovations in racking, oven design and automated spray machines by Artomation.

"The event was an unqualified success, in terms of both turnout and the high caliber of presentations and equipment which were offered." said Artomation president, John McDonough. "Without exception, the attendees voted to repeat the program in years to come.”
